Tuesday, October 8th

Today was an uneventful day, which was a welcome change after the chaos of the days before it. Our guy at ATC said they were working on the Dimetrodon and hoped to have the coolant fixed before end of day today, but he never called, so I guess they're still working on it. Leo called Whiskey Road and told them about the issue with our order yesterday. They re-made it at no charge, so we got a nice lunch finally. We have a good work project to do today that Leo put some good time into. I spent some time tweaking my galaxy simulator. Trying to see if I can set the initial conditions to form stable density waves. The Wikipedia on density wave theory is shockingly light on specifics, and I haven't find any other good sources either. The hot tub is still down, but we both got a chance to take a dip in the pool. The dogs have been pretty well behaved and mostly stayed quiet. They seem to like it here. I got woken up early again by Monkey needing to go out and have been running on low sleep all day. Hopefully I will be able to get better sleep tonight. We still need to call the DMV. We can do that tomorrow. I should also be getting the base plate kit for the Jeep so maybe I'll be able to install that and inquire about whatever else I need for a towing setup. Fingers crossed we'll get the Dimetrodon back tomorrow and can get our adventure started.
